Gyampo worried traders are cheating Ghanaians in these hard times

A lecturer at the University of Ghana Prof. Ransford Gyampo has Ghanaians to stop being unpatriotic.

He says people are capitalizing on the hardship to inflict more hardships by charging exorbitant prices on everything.

Gyampo believes that there should be some form of monitoring of the prices of items in the country.

The lecturer in a post on Facebook said “Times are hard but this must not be licentious for unpatriotic people to inflict more hardships by charging exorbitant prices on everything. I call for some monitoring and near price control, as the market forces aren’t working”.

There is economic hardship in Ghana currently as prices of goods have increased. Traders are riding on the economic hardship to charge exorbitant prices for goods.
